City and Township Tour

Take a trip through Port Elizabeth's history and walk in the footsteps of the first inhabitants.  Discover the historical buildings left behind by the 1820s settlers.  Experience life today in the Townships of Port Elizabeth.  Visit the award winning Red Location Museum, Port Elizabeth's memorial to the apartheid era.  The tour is rounded off with a drink in a traditional township tavern and the chance to observe the vibrant township life.

Addo Elephant National Park

Addo Elephant National Park is South Africa’s third largest national park.  Founded in 1931 to provide a sanctuary for the dwindling elephant population in the area, the park’s focus is on the conservation of mega-herbivores.  Addo is currently home to more than 550 elephants.  Other mammals in the park include 400 Cape buffalo, more than 48 endangered Black Rhinos as well as a variety of antelope species.  Lions and spotted hyenas have also recently been re-introduced to the area.
